In accordance with Article 15(4) of Council Regulation (EC) No 338/97, which implements the requirements of Article VIII(7) (a) and (b) of CITES, EU Member States are required to submit an “Annual Report”.

The “Annual Report” includes data on all trade in specimens of species covered by CITES, including information on imports into as well as exports and re-exports from the Community that have taken place.
