In 2013, wild-sourced imports comprised 51 skins imported from Brazil for commercial purposes. The only other EU imports of skins reported over the period 2004-2013 was in 2008 (eight) and in 2009 (two); M. niger (Brazil and Ecuador) was listed in Appendix II in 2007.
